Graduate Assistant
A strategic design for student engagement
My mission at the Financial Success Center is to drive awareness and student engagement around our free financial education services. After the rinse-and-repeat of static graphics and Instagram story reminders to "make an appointment through Navigate" began to lose impact, I needed an approach that would challenge students to evaluate their financial behaviors.
What's something students love but rarely have? Money.
Placed in high-traffic areas across Monroe Park Campus, my flyers stopped students just long enough to tear off a dollar with a QR code directing them to our appointment homepage. For the month of November, we had a 12% increase in scheduled appointments.
Ask me about Stretch the Giraffe.
Only if you're curious, of course.
